An early business machine (see nameplate below)
Here are a couple of photographs of an early business machine
manufactured and sold
by a company which has gone on to make a name
for itself selling other kinds of business machines.
In case you're wondering, it is a cheese cutter.
It would have been used to cut measured pie-shaped pieces of cheese in a store
(you can see part of the scale to the left of the nameplate in the second
photo).
Note the patented date of 1907.
