Boulet Family Tree



XII Louis Hébert (b 1575; d Jan 25, 1627) married Marie Rollet (b 1588; d May 27, 1649) in about 1602. They had three children named Anne, Guillaume and Guillemette.

Louis Hébert is considered by some to have been the first white settler of Canada, settling first in Port Royal, Nova Scotia and later in Quebec town. He is also considered by some to have been the first white settler of Quebec in 1617. He was an apothecary (pharmacist) by trade.


XI Guillaume Hébert (b 1604(?); d July 23, 1639) married Helene Desportes (b July 7, 1620; d 1675) on October 1, 1634 in Quebec. They had three children named Joseph, Francoise and Angelique. Joseph died without leaving any heirs (he was captured, tortured and killed by the Iroquois). He was the last descendant of Louis Hébert to have the Hébert surname.

X Francoise Hébert (b 1638; d 1716) married Lord Guillaume Fournier (b 1619; d 1699) on November 20, 1651 in Quebec City. They had fifteen children named Gilles, Marie, Agathe, Jacquette, Joseph, Marie Madeleine, Jean, Simon, Pierre, Francoise, Louis (died at 18 months), Louis (again), Madeleine, Charles and Jacques.

IX Francoise Fournier (b May 2, 1671; d July 16, 1734) married Jacques Boulet (b February 6, 1664; d May 1, 1738) St. Thomas, Quebec on April 21, 1686. One of their thirteen children was named Guillaume.

Jacques Boulet is a child of Robert Boulet (b 1630 in Loise, France; d March 24, 1707 in St. Thomas) who arrived in New France (i.e. present-day Quebec, Canada) from the Normandy region of France in 1662.


VIII Guillaume Boulet (b September 17, 1702; d January 10, 1764) married Marie-Anne Dandurand (his second marriage) in St. Thomas on June 10, 1734. One of their ten children was named Francois-Xavier.

VII Francois-Xavier Boulet (b May 18, 1755; d July 25, 1825) married Marie-Marguerite Labonte dit Marot in St. Thomas on November 27, 1775. One of their seven children was named Augustin.

VI Augustin Boulet (b August 26, 1785; d July 20, 1824) married Marie-Therese Deneau in St. Thomas on October 20, 1807. One of their nine children was named Francois-Thomas.

V Francois-Thomas Boulet (b May 16, 1811; d Nov 21, 1891) married Marie-Archange Bolduc in St. Isidore, Quebec on September 17, 1844. One of their eight children was Thomas.

IV Thomas Boulet (b September 30, 1855; d October 13, 1919) married Marie-Lea Pelchat in St. Honoré, Quebec on April 17, 1883. One of their eleven children was Alexandre.

III Alexandre Boulet (b September 11, 1891; d 1979) married Albertine Martin in Storthoaks, Saskatchewan on November 21, 1923. One of their seven children was Roland.

II Roland Boulet (b 1920s) married Angeline (b 1930s) in Cantal, Saskatchewan in 1950s. They have five children named Colette (b 1950s), Daniel (b 1950s), Twain (b 1960s), Ailwin (b 1960s) and Toby (b 1960s).

I Daniel Boulet married Penelope Rose Crocker in Edmonton, Alberta in 1980s. We have one child named Joel.
